Casa Umiña
In 2022 the landscape design of the Umiña farm house is carried out. Located in Machachi, province of Pichincha. The environments and activities that take place outside are vehicular circulation, pedestrian paths, water channel, stone fountain, stables, plant enclosure, riding arena, greenhouse, pond, path through the forest and stream, hill, firepit, horse jumping track , ranch horses and orchard.
En 2022 se realiza el diseño paisajístico de la casa de hacienda Umiña. Ubicada en Machachi, provincia de Pichincha. Los ambientes y actividades que se desarrollan al exterior son circulación vehicular, senderos peatonales, canal de agua, fuente de piedra, caballeriza, cerramiento vegetal, picadero, invernadero, estanque, recorrido en el bosque y riachuelo, loma, firepit, pista de salto hípico, estancia caballos y huerto.
El objetivo del proyecto es organizar todas las actividades que se puedan dar en el exterior, articuladas por senderos y caminerías. Además, por medio del uso de la vegetación se resaltan las visuales del paisaje lejano (los Andes).
The objective of the project is to organize all the activities that can take place abroad, articulated by paths and roads. In addition, through the use of vegetation, the visuals of the distant landscape (the Andes) are highlighted.
Al recorrer la propiedad, encontramos diferentes ambientes. Encontramos un bosque, un riachuelo, un estanque con plantas acuáticas, podemos caminar por medio de hierbas silvestres y sobre una pequeña loma artificial para tener una perspectiva diferente del paisaje.
A medida que nos acercamos a la casa de hacienda, los jardines cuentan con mayor detalle. Se utilizan herbáceas y plantas con flores; armónicas con el entorno.
When touring the property, we find different environments. We find a forest, a stream, a pond with aquatic plants, we can walk through wild herbs and on a small artificial hill to have a different perspective of the landscape.
As we get closer to the ranch house, the gardens are more detailed. Herbaceous and flowering plants are used; harmonious with the environment.
Se ha determinado una gran porción del terreno, donde no se realizará ninguna intervención de mantenimiento. Casi el 50% del área exterior, se deja la vegetación silvestre que crezca libremente. Se planificó para que los costos de mantenimiento del exterior se reduzcan. Además, también es una invitación a los usuarios a contemplar y apreciar la vegetación espontanea. A encontrar belleza de la naturaleza silvestre. De hecho, las hierbas silvestres en algunas épocas del año florecen y colorean el paisaje.
