El proyecto "Pasajes Peatonales El Juncal" se encuentra en el valle del Chota en el El Juncal. A 35km de Ibarra.

El Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de Ibarra, mediante consulta al barrio, ha destinado fondos de los presupuestos participativos para la intervención en el espacio público; en la actualidad son vías peatonales de tierra, estrechas; remanentes del crecimiento desordenado de viviendas.

El proyecto pretende mejorar el paisaje urbano y mejorar la accesibilidad y circulación; mediante la conformación de pisos duros, construcción de mobiliario, regeneración natural con árboles y herbáceas y construcción de alcantarillado del sistema de desfogue de agua lluvia.

El área de intervención es de 555.15 m². Dividido en dos fases, en la primera se intervendrá en 471.64 m² y en la segunda fase son 21.14 m² de área a intervenir.
